Well This will be my first visit to St. Croix and we are so lucky to have friends that want to show us around the island. We are leaving tomorrow and going by boat to St. Croix from St. Thomas. They lived in St. Croix about 6 or 7 years before moving to St. Thomas so they know the island well. I will let you know the highlights of the trip when we get back on Saturday afternoon just in time for the Gator game! Then after that there is a Haunted House for adults at the Yacht club. I wonder what type of haunts there will be?
This is the view from our Cruzan room. See if you were here you could be having coffee watching the cruise ships come in. We have a beautiful view of the cruise ships from all of our rooms. So come check us out!

Well first off we went to Soggy dollar bar in Jost Van Dyke. There was a mini cruise ship docked there. They had everything set up on the beach for their passengers but it didn’t seem like many people were taking advantage of all of the cool things they were offering the passengers. They had massages on the beach, 4 wheelers available to explore the island and plenty of rafts and chairs for a fun and laid back time. Well any way we took advantage of just being there. Always a treat (Pic attached)
.
Then on Sunday we got to go snorkeling I finally went down to 60 ft. Pretty cool we circled this island (pic attached)
This morning we hiked down to our private beach and I took a friend of ours snorkeling for the first time. He did great! I just opened up another world to him and I don’t think he is going to look back. We have another snorkel trip planned for tomorrow and then off to Jost Van Dyke for some pain killers at the Soggy Dollar Bar.
We were hanging out waiting to to our normal Monday routine when we got a call to go out in the boat with our friends. We went to Thatch island and the guys did two dives and we listened to the wonderful sound of a blow hole nearby. We then proceed to Coki beach and swam in to have a drink and some jerk chicken and finished up the afternoon with a great meal on the boat. What a nice way to spend a Monday!
Well we did almost everything I predicted on Friday with a couple of exceptions. Friday night turned into movie night and Saturday morning we went to Coki Beach. Gators won so that was a great thing . Megan’s is such a beautiful beach so calm and relaxing. Can’t wait to do it again soon.
