We started out this morning on our trail down to the beach and then kept walking into the woods and found the salt water pond that we can see on Google Earth. Isn’t Google Earth the best?
Well we are getting ready for another action packed weekend here in St. Thomas. This is the plan so far, I will let you know how it unfolds as the weekend progresses. Tonight the art show at Mango Tango in Yacht Haven, Saturday Gator Game, Sunday it’s Megans Bay birthday bash.
Should be another full filled weekend in Paradise.
It has been raining on and off all day. Our cistern is very happy. When you only have rain water for all of your water needs you need a good couple of rain days. We have been getting few and far between so it is nice to have one. But don’t worry this is like the 3rd day in 3 months this has happened and it is still sunny when it rains so it wouldn’t ruin any ones vacation. It is still beautiful here when it rains
Yesterday started out simple a walk down to our private beach and snorkeling. I think we found the nursery for lobsters it was very cool seeing so many. We had the opportunity to take out a 25′ open fisherman so we went to St. John for lunch and then some more snorkeling between Lovango and Congo keys. We did a little more research and found out that Lovango used to host a bordello hence the name love-an-go.
Well I made it through another birthday and had a great time doing so. Saturday morning went to Coki Beach saw a turtle, a school of Squid and the usual beautiful fish on the reef. Saturday night was Oktoberfest which was not really the chicken dance music we are all used to but still fun with lots of German beer. And then the best part of the day a Gator win!!!!! Go Gators!
We went to the opening night of Little Shop of Horrors at Pistarckle Theater in Tillett Gardens last night. What a great way to spend an evening. The play was so professionally done it was such a treat. We do have a bit of culture down here in the islands, not only the best beaches in the world
