Tropical Christmas

This is the Christmas tree Danny and I had last year in Gainesville.  It made the trip down to the islands in great shape and has grown at least a foot since last year.  Merry Christmas to some and Happy Holidays to all.  This is our decorated tree.

Rainbow Weekend

We had the most spectacular rainbows over the weekend.  This one looks like it is coming out of the house in front of ours.

And this one is a double rainbow.  We seem to see a lot of these.

It was another glorious weekend here in St. Thomas.  Please do not look at the weather channel according to them it rains all of the time.  We see rain sporadically but it blows over really fast when it does come.  We will have our web cam set up again soon so you can really see what things look like before your trip.  Have a great week!

Oasis of the Seas makes it to St. Thomas

Filed under: Uncategorized — Leah @ 11:17 am

Well today is a really big day here.  The largest cruise ship in the world arrived at about 7:30 this morning.  There are 4 other ships in port too.  So things are pretty busy around here.  There are all sorts of entertainment planned at both ports.  Should be a really happening day!

Look at the houses in from of it, they are dwarfed by the size of this ship.
